Name some media you connect with queerly
Well, this is awkward. Not much? I don’t watch television anymore, all the video games I play have only binary playable characters, so if I had to pick (and this is kind of embarrassing) I would say fan fiction. If it exists, there is fan fiction of it. It takes some rooting around, but gender queer will occasionally get on honorable mention or have a fic built around it. AUs (alternate universe) fics are my favorite. I had a literature professor talk about people “writing in the gaps” and that’s exactly what these beautiful authors do. There’re gaps of representation in the main stream so they take it upon themselves to give the rest of us some representation.
